Admission Procedure

Registration, Test, Interview and Admission

•   Students seeking admission in the school are to get their names registered in the month of January. Admission is done purely on the basis of written test, interview and according to the availability of seats in each class.

•   Application form should be filled in neatly and all the entries are to be made correctly. Incomplete application may be rejected.

•   Children who have completed five years as on 31st  March are eligible for admission to Class-I. The maximum age can be limited to six. Corresponding age limits are applicable for all other classes.

•   No fresh admission is made in Class-X and XII.

•   Selected candidates are required to furnish the following documents at the time of admission :

•   Birth Certificates from Municipal Corporation or Equivalent Body.

•   Four Attested Passport size Photographs

•   Transfer Certificate from the previous Institution.

•   Mark-sheet of the last Examination.

•      Medical Certificate of General Health from a Govt. Regd. Doctor

Affiliation & Session

The School is presently affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi up to 10+2 Level in Science, Commerce and Humanities Stream.

After passing the Senior Secondary Examination, students may take admission in any institution across India.

The academic session begins in April for Pre-nursery to Class-X and for Class-XI, it starts from the first day of July.


Syllabus for Admission Test For Class-I

    ENGLISH

•    Knowledge of day to day activities.

•    Information about animals, birds and environment

•    Names of household items

•    Filling in missing letters and forming words

•    Knowledge of different colours.

•    Information about simple opposite words

•    Name of months, days, fruit, flowers & animals.

•    Idea of arranging the jumbled words.

MATHEMATICS

•    Simple addition and subtraction without carrying / borrowing

•    Less than / Greater than [up to 100]

•    What comes before, after and between up to 100

•    Writing in words from 1 to 20

•    Backward counting 50 to 1

•    Circling the smaller, bigger, longer, shorter, heavier and lighter in the give pictures

•    Counting and writing / Circling the correct number

•    Identifying the shapes

•    Picking the odd one out

•    Recognizing the Indian coins

•    Completing the series


Syllabus For Classes : II to VIII

Question paper for admission to each of these classes shall cover complete N.C.E.R.T. Syllabus of the previous year in the following subjects : Hindi, English, Science and Mathematics.

MEDIUM

Though the medium of instruction is English, special emphasis is laid on Hindi and it is taught daily in all the classes.


Attendance

85 percent Attendance is required for the students in order to appear at any of the examinations held in the school. In case a student remains absent, it must be written in the school diary and duly signed by the parents / guardians. Absentees are not permitted to attend classes without the permission of the Teacher-in-charge.

All students are expected to attend the school on the re-opening day after each vacation. Pupils not coming to school after holidays without prior information (maximum 10 days) are liable to have their names struck off from the rolls and in case of re-admission, they will have to pay the full admission fee again.
If a student remains absent for 15 days without informing the school authorities, his / her name will be struck off from the rolls.
